Nothing in Life is constant except change. You have to change or else you will be forced to. This concept is beautifully narrated in a book called ‘Who Moved my Cheese?’.
There are lots of ideas, principles and fresh thoughts that we see around. But we are never in a position to appreciate anything. Why is that so? This will act as a wonderful remainder to all of us.
Imagine there is a cup full of Tea in front of us. What will happen if we pour tea into it? Yes, It will spill out. The mind is also similar. It is full of our tea, our own half cooked thoughts, prejudices, fears, apprehensions and beliefs. It is so full of our own thoughts that 65% of our time is spent in rethinking our old thoughts and hence is of not much use. In order to appreciate this world, first we need to empty our cup. Look at everything afresh, like a child. Perhaps, we should remove the biased glasses we wear in front of our eyes before looking at things.
